Nephew Travis's first communion. He's the one with his tongue ready to stick out at his brother. Guess you can take the kid to church, but you can't get church to the kid :| A lighter moment in a solemn ceremony, the first one I've been to.

Not much attention here, where the boys are concerned! Nice 'special moment' shot ... :)

I agree w/Liza .. you were brave to take a shot in Church... and you got a delightful result.

I like the guy in the background who seems to think you are more interesting than the sevice. Actually I think he thinks you should put your camera down! Nice moment captured here Ms. L

such a great capture, all those serious looking people behind him and he is sticking his tongue out. Great catch

Great shot at ASA 800 Karen. And these kids have so funny expression:)
You caught the moment. I like that.

Great capture - and bravo for the guts to take the shot. You can see quite a few people watching you - folks just aren't used to seeing a HUGE lens in settings like this are they! Good warm colors and processing.

This is so cute. I love the attitude of the kids vs. the solemn looks of the adults.

Kids can make a fun time out of anything I think. Still wish I could use my childhood imagination in public. hehe
Nice shot

This is just too, too adorable. I had to laugh out loud. Boys will be boys...Coleen is right.

They always look so angelic at Communions, but boys can't help it!!! They have to do at least "one" mischievous thing at a solemn occasion.
