This is a rice field, which was full of water the first day I passed by but unfortunately it was prtty much empty the day I took this picture. Rice is cultivated on the other side of the Po river, in Lombardy. But since I commuted for many years between Piacenza and Milan, passing next to this area where rice is cultivated, somehow I associate it with my recollections of Piacenza.
