preface. This study is intended to concentrate around one subject " Did Jesus die on the cross and was he resurrected from death ". The subject demands study on the validity of the Bible and the Quran so material on that is also included.
There is one thing that hinges on Christianity more than any other. Its the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christians know Him as the Son of God, he is God manifested in the flesh. Jesus is one of the 3 persons of God, but each one having the fullness of the Godhead called the Holy Trinity. Without understanding the Holy Trinity as Muslims do, it will only leave you confused and possibly mocking the bible for all its worth.
If God did not die on the cross, nor was brought back to life from the dead, then Christians would have no hope in an afterlife, no hope from escaping hell, and no hope for heaven. For 2000 years not a single Christian has ever had any evidence that this crucifixion of Jesus and his resurrection did not happen. So why are we discussing it now ? You will soon find out !
Most Christians know there is a spiritual battle between Satan and God has been going on even before Adam was created. According to prophecy the final battle will be in our near future and this war shows its ugly head any many ways today. Its a deception that Satan uses to keep souls from finding Jesus, from testing His Word and ultimately putting their faith on His name.
Satan has done much through history trying to stop Jesus ( God ) from coming to Earth and becoming a sacrifice for the world. The bible tells many stories of this taking place. But Gods power never fails and everything he intends on doing comes to pass. The major event for the reconciliation of mankind to God was the cross. Its hinted of, foretold of and afterwards proclaimed in the bible. Without the cross the bible is nothing more than paper.
God made it to the Cross and became a sacrifice for mankind. Our Muslim friends cant understand why God would have to die for our sins. The ask " why cant he just simply forgive us "? God exists by His own rules that He has created. Hebrews 9:22 ....without shedding of blood is no remission ( of sins ). Blood must be shed for forgiveness of sins. Life is in the blood, that's why blood must be shed for the forgiveness of sin. Lev 17:11
In the Old Testament this was done by animal sacrifices but that was only a temporary sacrifice and it only covered sins. But then God in His own time made a way for a perfect sacrifice, one that was without sin. And the only sinless, perfect, innocent sacrifice was God himself ( 1 Peter 2:22 ). His sacrifice was a way to blott sins off our record so they would never be remembered. No man on planet earth could ever pay for the sins of the world for all men have sinned. Rom:3:23 .These facts attest that Jesus was something more than just a man. That and his virgin birth !
This lie to which this work is titled was derived from the pages of a book that promotes Islam. The book is called the Quran, sometimes spelled Koran. It was written by an evil man named Muhammad who lived around 600 AD. http://www.bibleprobe.com/muhammad.htm He claimed to have received revelations from the angel Gabriel. It just happens that Muhammad was the only one who ever saw this angel. Muslims also follow a book called the Hadith which are eyewitness accounts from people who seen and heard Muhammad , however this book is NOT a claimed revelation from Allah. In contrast its a worthy to note that all of the bibles words came through its prophets, which were inspired by the Holy Ghost. None of them had to be told anything God said through an agent such as an angel ! Yes, I bet some of you are thinking about the bible verse " And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light" ( 2 Cor 11-14 ).
In the Quran this angel Gabriel squeezed Muhammad and told him to read some revelations ( to start with ).Muhammad said " I CAN NOT READ" ! Muhammad was illiterate ! Sura 7:157,Sura 7:158 Muhammad did not write the Qur’an; he recited it. Muhammad indoctrinated writers to record the things he heard ( messages he received ). Now hows that for a trustworthy and reliable source of learning material ?
Muhammad said this angel squeezed him so hard that he thought he was going to die. Muhammad went back to his wife and told her that he though he was possessed ! May I ask you does this sound like an angel of our Lord ? The angel Gabriel in the Bible acted very different when appearing to certain characters such as Daniel ,Zecharia, and Mary. Gabriel never "squeezed" any of them , especially to the point of making them think they were going to die !! He always told those whom he appeared to not be afraid even when the initial sight of himself brought fear. After Muhammad "saw" this angel he went back to his wife very troubled. She took him to a bishop of the Amunit cult in Mecca by the name of Waraka Bin Nawfal. He told Muhammad that he was going to be a prophet. So initially it as a bishop of some strange religion who helped begin this charade of islam, however if you study Islam you will learn that Muhammad abused this " possible true encounter with a demon " angel " by weaving his personal desires of money , sex and power within the revelations of this angel.
If this was actually the same Gabriel who came to Muhammad as the one that appeared in the bible then Gabriel was breaking one of Gods commandments not to add to the Words of God. Deuteronomy 4:2, Rv:22:19 There is an interesting verse in the bible warning us about any angel that would bring such revelations outside the written inspired Word of God. Galatians 1:8 But though we ( the apostles), or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. it appears that God sent a hint of his foreknowledge of Islam ( and Mormonism ) into the bible. So there's your warning, a warning that appears to be ignored in the Quran. A warning that appears to be ignored from one very evil man named Muhammad and every Muslim on Earth.
Before I continue let me ask a very simple question. Suppose there is " a story " that two different groups of people want you to believe , each having their own version. How would determine which is the accurate version of it ? Any logical and cognitive mind would consider its source right ? One side of the story comes from just one man and the other side of the story comes from a group of 40 writers, who spoke 3 different languages, lived hundreds of miles apart, and all lived in an expanse of time covering 1600 years. And those 40 writers wrote 2000 future prophecies through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, 100 percent correct in every minute detail, never contradicting one another. Many of those prophets referred to one another never having heard of the other ! And many of these men who told this story died cruel deaths defending their belief in it. Their " version is also backed by historical evidence, archaeological evidence and evidence through scientific revelations thousands of years before men became aware of it. These evidences are scattered throughout a book that teaches the whole world to live with one another in peace, " WHETHER OR NOT THEY BELIEVE THE STORY TO BE TRUE ".
One story comes from a book that appears logically consistent with the present day world and can references itself and other things outside itself. The other comes from a book ( Quran) that has little relevance in our world today and has been since found to be perplexed with inaccuracies. The author of the Quran has changed his mind about things many times through his life as can be read in this book. ( please study Islam's doctrine of abrogation ).
The Quran is a self referencing book which can only defend itself within its own words . For example, the Quran says its the word of God. How does it prove this ? Because Muhammad said so. Well how do we know Muhammad is right ? Because the Quran say he is . The Quran is a self referencing only authority. The bible has points of verification , it has opened itself up to be falsified which means it has within its pages many claims that can be tested to see if they are true or not outside of its own pages. AND... the Quran references MUCH of the bible, but the bible NEVER references the Quran ; what does that say ?! And here is a scary thought for one who wants to judge which book to believe from. The Quran says not to test its authenticity. "O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith." (Surah 5:101-102)."The Holy Prophet himself forbade people to ask questions ...so do not try to probe into such things." (The Meaning of the Qur'an, Maududi, vol. III, pgs. 76-77). "The prophet was asked about things which he did not like, and when the questioner insisted, the Prophet got angry. (vol. 1, no. 92) The Prophet got angry and his cheeks or his face became red. (vol. 1, no. 91) "Allah has hated you...[for] asking too many questions." (vol. 2, no. 555; and vol. 3, no. 591, Bukhari's Hadith commenting on Muhammad's reaction to hostile questioners.)
Does the God of the bible like to be asked questions and tested ? The God of the bible DESIRES for His book to be tested ! ... 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. The essence of truth asks you to test it, falsehoods fear to be tested.
Lets examine the character of Allah to see if we should trust him.... The book to which his own words come from has this to say about him !! S. 14:4 Then Allah misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. S 3:54 “And they (the Jews ) planned and Allah ( God of Islam )(also) planned, and Allah is the best of deceivers.”The Quran unashamedly calls Muhammad’s god the best liar and deceiver of them all! It even dares to say that ALL deception belongs completely to Allah: “And verily, those before them did deceive/scheme (makara), but all deception/scheming is Allah’s (fa lillahi al-makru). He knows what every person earns, and the disbelievers will know who gets the good end.” S. 13:42 In fact, the Quran states that Allah actually raises wicked individuals to deceive and scheme: “Even so have we placed in every city, ringleaders of its wicked ones, to scheme therein (liyamkuroo): but only against themselves shall they scheme (yamkuroona)! and they know it not.” S. 6:123
What does God of the Bible say about himself ?
Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; 1 Samuel 15:29: “And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent.” Titus 1:2: “[I]n hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.”Hebrews 6:18: “[I]t is impossible for God to lie.” God of the bible has used lies of other people to work toward a goal but in stark contrast God has never lied nor can he. He certainly has not called himself a deciever.
With all these things to consider it obvious that the bible minuscules the Quran in its worthiness to be trusted. Then why are there 1.3 billion Muslims in the world ? I assume its because Christians are not spreading the gospel as their bible instructs. Mk:16:15 This and the fear of being killed by the opposing team ! The Quran and Hadith also harbor evil verses that instill fear in those that consider leaving Islam for example in the Hadith......... for the prophet said " If somebody ( a Muslim) discards their religion , kill him. Sahih, al-Bukhari, 4:52:260. Allah's Apostle said, "The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims."- Sahih al-Bukhari, 9:83:17 I ask you " when does truth have to be forced on someone, to have them believe it for fear of death"? That is not how truth presents itself. Truth is backed up by evidence. It reasons with you, it asks you to test itself.
Historically, the vast majority of Islamic scholars have held that apostasy in Islam is a crime as well as a sin, an act of treason punishable by severe punishment that I will not go into here. This punishment is called upon the apostate because the Quran is just as much a civil obedience book as it is a religious book. The Bibles Old Testaments held its believers under the law and severe punishment was handed out back then but because Jesus fulfilled the law ( did not erase the law ), that those punishment are no longer with us today. However we still suffer from disobeying Gods commandments today just as much as disobedience back then. Islam seems to still be stuck back in ancient times with no promise of relief. Take note Christians die defending their belief, Muslims die forcing their belief on others. The only way Muslims can be assured of paradise ( heaven ) is to die in Jihad. Sura 3:157. So what is this lie you have been reading for so long hoping to get to ? Its a lie that puts a monkey wrench in Gods plan of salvation and who would you guess would desire to do such a thing ? ( John 10:10 ) The story of the salvation plan that required the death and resurrection of Jesus had been twisted so hard , that it has left many in a state of condemnation that they may never have a chance to recover from. Its is the claim that Muhammad made about Jesus on the cross. A most absurd lie. One so outrageous that it makes me question the intellect of anyone who would even consider it being true. Muhammad claims Jesus did not actually die on the cross ! Yes, Islam claims that Jesus made it to the cross, but that he actually did not die on the cross. The claim continues that Allah SNATCHED UP THE REAL JESUS AND RETURNED A LOOK ALIKE IMPOSTER IN HIS PLACE ! Muhammad said " And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.” (Qur’an 4: 153-157).
The title of this work fits perfectly doesn't it ? Yes, its insane ! Whats insane is that Muhammad wasnt even there when this happened. Again he claims a revelation through the Angel Gabriel- Surah 4:157-158 which says, “...they [the Jews] said (in boast), ‘We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah’ - But they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not - Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself.” This is in direct contrast to what the bible teaches... there is no salvation apart from the cross (Mt. 26:28, Mk. 14:22-24, cf. 1 Cor. 1:18).
An amazing claim from Muhammad ! Funny isn't it. Allah cant refute the story of Jesus being beat to a pulp, cant refute the historical 2.5 mile path he walked and was dragged on the way to the cross, cant even refute that he was nailed to the cross, so in desperation manifested the only stupid lie he could come up with. He claimed Allah did a switcharoo of Jesus on the cross and replaced Jesus with a look-a-like imposter ! Its unfathomable that anyone with 2 cc of grey brain matter would believe such an absurd lie ! It makes me wonder if I am human, being in the same species of anyone that would yield their intelligence to such a pathetic accusation ! Well people, its time to dig into this claim. Did a switcheroo take place on the cross ?
Who was there when Jesus was on the cross ? Who saw him crucified ? According to the bible the various witnesses included Roman soldiers, Jewish officials, passersby who mocked Jesus, and two men crucified at the same time. The only reference to followers of Jesus is found in Matthew 27:55-56, which says that many women were "watching from a distance", and specifically names "Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's sons." Unlike male followers, these women would probably have been allowed to watch without being arrested, provided that they didn't try to interfere.
Secondly some who didn't see Jesus crucified were most of his disciples. Probably most of them fled for fear of being arrested. ( Matthew 26:56 ) Peter feared so much that he denied Jesus three times. This is how real it was for those who knew Jesus and what was about to happen to Him. But then Peter told the Jews in Acts AFTER the resurrection "By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead". Acts 4.10. Peter the apostle feared the Roman government just before the crucifixion but did not fear the Jews ( whom he was once one through heritage) after the resurrection. Does this sound like a story made up in the mind of a man ?
The punishment of death had been ruled upon Jesus for claiming to be God. There is no doubt of this except in Islam ! There was no foreshadowing of Allah anywhere that had shown otherwise ! No human, no angel, no animal had foretold that Allah or any other non existent god was going to snatch the soul from Jesus and replace it with an imposter or " soul" from someone else and make the entire story of Jesus death and resurrection null and void !
This absurd revelation from Allah came only AFTER the occurrence ! How convenient for our Muslim friends ! The person who was replaced for Jesus was named Shabih ( correct this name if needed, some say it was Judas ). Yes its nuts, and there's some names for you to study on Islams claim.
If you think about what Muhammad has said, it means that Allah created Christianity ! If Allah allowed Jesus to come to the cross and have those who followed him believe he died on the cross ( when Muslims don't believe this ) , then Allah created Christianity ! Allah allowed those followers of Christ believe they saw Jesus crucified ! I bet Muhammad did not give much thought to that did he ? It appears that Allah created enemies of the Muslim world !
And something else Muhammad didn't do. Muhammad did not consider all those people saw Jesus resurrected and appear on the Earth for 40 days ! Wow, Muhammad didn't think this thing through did he ? Or do we say that Allah's imposter spent 40s days on the earth fooling these new Christians that he was Jesus and perpetuate this Christian religion instead of perpetuating ISLAM by explaining to everyone that Jesus really didn't die ? ! And did Muhammad forget to explain the nail holes in the hands of Jesus and the spear hole in the side after he was resurrected ? !! 500 people saw Jesus after his resurrection ! No one said" hey your not Jesus " ... not even the JESUS IMPERSONATOR himself !

Everyone knew in that time era that no one lives through a crucifixion. Death on the cross is made for pain, humiliation and death. In fact the Romans broke the legs of a crucifixion victim for a faster death, but with Jesus his legs were not broken. ( this was prophesied long before the event ! Psalm 34:20
Jesus side was pierced after all signs of life were gone to prove he was dead. In no accounts in any gospels , inside or outside the bible is there an account that some kind of " switcharoo" had taken place where Jesus did not actually die.... except for Islam !
In fact if Allah did a switcharoo its nothing more than an example that Allah does deceive and is a liar. I have yet to find out why Allah did do this.Which one would our Muslims choose to have Allah remembered for, a liar and subsequently the one who created Christianity , OR one that did not have the power to simply lift Jesus and his body off the cross into the sky and show that Allah is real by protecting his great prophet from dying ? And why didn't Allah protect his great prophet Muhammad from getting poisoned by a Jewish woman who Muhammad was responsible for killing her family ?

Now lets look at some comments made by Jesus while on the cross and see if there is any indication that Jesus had his " brain snatched out " and replaced with someone elses. These are the last 7 expressions that Jesus said before he gave up the ghost (died). You tell me if this sounded like Jesus had been SWITCHED sometime before dying !
And Jesus said unto him, "Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise".Luke 23:43 Jesus had told the thief on the cross that he had joined him in the Kingdom of heaven by believing on him. Had this not been Jesus and some other person, that person would not have the power to forgive sins and claim he was now on that day, a child of God.
"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do".Luke 23:34". Jesus called out to the Father on the Cross. He called him Father. Though anyone could and should call God Father, but here Jesus was not praying for himself like most of us would probably do if crucified but he was praying for others showing the same directive as he had displayed through his entire ministry. This would indicate he was STILL Jesus on the cross.
"Jesus said to his mother: "Woman, this is your son." Then he said to a disciple: "This is your mother."John 19:26-27 This is easy, if this was not Jesus on the cross, he could not claim he was her son, nor John would record Mary as his mother. Thats two people claiming the man on the cross was Jesus and not Islams impersonator.
"My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34" Not too much can be said about this as it being Jesus, however if I was someone injected in the body of Jesus being in the shape I was in , I would be yelling out " My God, take me back up " or " hey people, your not going to believe this but I'm not Jesus, a terrible mistake has been made !
I thirst." John 19:28" Anyone could thirst however his thirst is attributed through the long tormentious beating he had taken BEFORE being put on the cross. This is thirst has medical backing. They put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth. When Jesus had received the wine, he said, "It is finished;" and he bowed his head and handed over the spirit. John 19:29-30 An interesting prophecy from David ( who lived roughly a thousand years before Jesus ) foretold of this comment. Psalm 69:21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. ANOTHER indication that the God of the bible was not ALLAH. If this Old Testament prophet foretold of such a specific fact and he also spoke of Christs death of the cross, wouldn't you think he was on to something , that something which was the truth ?

And the very last words from Jesus.... He cried out in a loud voice,
"Father, into your hands I commend my spirit." Luke 23:46" Look closely at these very last words of Jesus . Jesus said I commend " MY " spirit into your hands. He spoke of his breath of life that was given him and returned to God the Father. No one elses. Jesus spoke of himself dying. If he was Allah's great prophet ( and only a prophet) he surely would have been able to tell those at the cross that he would NOT die , but just leave into heaven to Allah, HE DIDN'T SAY THAT. WHY did Jesus remain DEAD when he gave up the ghost for 3 days ? Was Allah's impersonator playing possum for 3 days ? And did Allah's impersonator mysteriously appear in the upper room ( while the apostles had the room locked for fear of the Jews coming after them )?
And while we are that close to those scriptures let us reference where Thomas( doubting Thomas ) would not believe it was Jesus until he closely examined the nail holes in Jesus hand and the spear hole in his side. John 20:25-31 When he had convinced of those things Thomas said " My Lord and My God " . If this was not Jesus wouldn't this non Jesus have said "do not worship me for I am not your Lord "? It gets more ridiculous the more one studies this outlandish Islamic claim! All these records from differing people in the bible claiming to see God ( Jesus ) after his death, but one man who lived 600 years AFTER the fact wants everyone to believe his story. A story that came from an entity that NO ONE else ever saw !
Its strange that Jesus, the one who was seen born of a virgin ( Even the Quran claims Jesus was born of a virgin ), did all those miracles, spoke those amazing revelations and was destined to be crucified by the Romans ( via the Jews demands ) would somehow be switched out just BEFORE DEATH on the cross. ? So what Islam is saying is that Jesus was beat to a pulp for nothing ! Do Muslims even consider why the Jews seeked to kill Jesus ? IF Jesus was not God, wouldnt Jesus explain to the Jews he was NOT God to keep from going to the cross ? Jesus himself asked why he was being crucified, was it for the mighty works he did in the name of his father. The Jews replied , " its for claiming you are God ".
No where in the bible did Jesus remotely indicate that he would be switched out on the cross anywhere in the perfectly written revelation of Gods Word. Just the opposite. Jesus said he came to Earth to DIE for our sins ! John 10:11, John 15:13, Rom. 5:10, Rom. 5:18,Rom. 6:10, 1 Cor. 15:3, 2 Cor. 5:21, John 19:30, "Eph. 2:16, Phil. 2:8, Col. 1:20, Col. 2:14 Heb. 2:14, "Heb. 9:15-16, 1 Pet. 1:18-19, 1 Pet. 2:24, 1 Pet. 3:18 Propitiated our sins, 1 John 2:2, Psalm 22:14-18, Isaiah 53:4-7, Zech. 12:10

But Islam wants you to believe ONE person Muhammad that says Jesus never died on the cross. Kind of sad in a way, this great God Allah and prophet could NOT KEEP Jesus from being tortured BEFORE the cross, but Allah could take him OUT of his body at any time. It appears Allah chose to have his great prophet beating and tortured to " NEAR" death for nothing. So what is Allah's reason for allowing Jesus to be beaten the way he was ? If Jesus did not die on the cross than all those old Testament prophets were wrong, you know those prophets that made all those other prophecies that were ACCURATE !
Muslims will also go back to the Old Testament and say this and that about scripture that they do not understand and claim Jesus did not die. My big question is " if Muslims think the bible is corrupt , then why do they bring ANY bible scripture up, why do they refer to them at all " ? Muhammad did many times and even Muhammad claims the bible is worthy to reference for truth ! ( see notes below ). Its as if they know which ones are the true word of God and which aren't. Another problem Muslims have that makes it impossible for them to understand how God could die on the cross is their inability to grasp the Trinity of the bible. How God can be ONE God but manifest himself into three persons ? Throughout the bible the 3 person Godhead has shown itself and nowhere does it say otherwise. Remember this, how could 40 authors over an expanse of 1600 years use the same theory as how the Godhead is revealed ? Not one of them ever gave any indication that God did not consist of 3 persons. And Jesus is describe as having the fullness of God ( Col 2:9 ) but he was also completely a man while on earth. John 1:1 Muslims often ask " So if Jesus was God how could he die on the cross and why would he ?, who was in charge of the universe " ? Thats because they do not understand the Trinity and they do not understand the LOVE of God. When Jesus died on the cross he said " Father , into your hands I commend my spirit ". Jesus gave no indication that he was going to cease to exist or / and be in charge of the universe. Even if the possibility that Jesus stopped existing after his death on the cross before his resurrection, than you can rest assured that God the Father had things in control.

Interesting note !!! Allah saved Jesus from being crucified on the cross. Yanked him straight up in the sky ( invisibly of course ) and replaced him with someone else, YET... Allah couldn't save his great Prophet Muhammad from dying ! You see, a Jewish woman whom Muhammad had killed some of her family, seeked revenge and killed the prophet by poisoning him. In fact this woman invited Muhammad for a meal and this " Genius Prophet " not only ate the meal but was poisoned by it. Wouldn't you think that Allah would have told Muhammad not to eat of the lamb ?
Another interesting note. Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet... only a prophet but still a prophet so lets make this note available for them. If they believe Jesus was a prophet, why dont they listen to HIM about the subject of hid death and resurrection ? Did all these prophets who spoke the Words of God through the Holy Spirit somehow get the same message , but ALL were wrong about the death and resurrection of Jesus ? How ridiculous ! Please read...

The Quran says the bible is a book of reference for them ! The Quran references the bible through its entire writings. The Bible never references the Quran. What does that tell you ?
