This is the first view I've seen of the Skyway in the daytime! =D

I sort of accidentally ended up on it on my way back to Memphis from the Dragon, and ended up driving it a good 3 hours after it became fully dark outside, at the end of December! Really scary drive in the pitch darkness!

Came across a dead wild turkey in the middle of the road, and almost hit a bobcat that ran out in front of me. Pretty crazy, but I'd love to go back to it some time. We stopped at one of the pull offs and got a gorgeous view of whatever nearby city we could see, all lit up and spectacular looking.

Hey Chad,

Between mile marker 9 and 10 on the NC side, there is a pull off/parking area with picnic tables and a paved path that goes through the woods and out to a pier. It was shot from that pier. (standing on the railing ;)
