It was the rolling stock of Tokyo Metro from 1927 to 1975. The operation speed of 1000 series was 55 km per hour. The bodywork was manufactured by carbon steel.
The capacity of 16 meters long car was 120 passengers (44 seats + 76 standees).In 2017, it was awarded as Important Cultural Property (Japan).
