Kofuku-ji is UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a Buddhist temple which was built in 669. The East Golden Hall and Five-stories Pagoda was built in 726 but both of them were destroyed in a civil war in 1180. East Golden Hall was rebuilt in 1415 and Five-storied Pagoda was rebuilt in 1426.
