The Chapel of Our Lady of Penha and Bishop's Palace is situated at the Penha Hill. It was constructed in 1622 to venerate the protector of the sailors.
It was reconstructed many times in the past several centuries. The existing building was constructed in 1935 as a church and bishop's palace. The Hill of the Penha is also known as " Hill of the Bishop".
