Badlands, Forts, and Towers

A variety of pictures from a journey into Theodore Roosevelt NP (north and south units), Fort Union NM (a reconstructed fort devoted to commerce in the 1800s), and a quick brush with Devils Tower.

We had the good luck on this trip to enjoy the badlands area of the park on both a sunny day that allowed for pleasant hiking, and a very rainy set of days that showed a different side of the parks.

Very nice gallery. I particularly enjoyed the Badlands photos, since I'll be travelling through there next month. I hope my photos turn out half as well as yours!
