Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota, USA
This is a hut originally built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, an organization that built much of the early park infrastructure. Still in very good shape after all this time.
The river far below is the Little Missouri, which flows through the park.
That you all for the comments on the river name. I have now settled on the Little Missouri, and hopefully this time I have it right. I'll be more careful with river names in the future...

Not to be a stickler for details, but it's neither the Mississippi nor the Missouri River...it's the Little Missouri River. Lovely shot and fine gallery, by the way!

This is a beautiful shot. If you don't mind me saying, the river is not the Mississippi, but the Missouri.
