There was a bit of an incident involving a Black Tip Shark today. Jim had a fish on, the shark showed up close on the fishes tail, so Buddy used the sharp end of his graphite pushpole to "tag" the shark. Infuriated, the 3 foot shark blasted, head out of water, in a frantic thrashing manner straight toward ME, where I was out of the boat shooting photos. I'm sure the shark didn't even know I was there. In any event, I ended up fending off the shark with a pretty solid kick to it's midsection, lifting it part way out of the water. Tough morning for Mr. Shark.
