Infrared

Photos taken in infrared with the Sony F707, using a Hoya multi-coated infrared r72 filter, usually in conjunction with other Hoya filters such as the circular polarizer and neutral density filters. The photos are then processed in Paint Shop Pro 7 where the color tones are changed, usually to a blue color.

Hi Al,

Glad that you liked the photos! :-) I've converted my 717 over to full time IR now. The conversion was done by MaxMax. It makes shooting IR a real pleasure. You can find that several folks on the Sony forum at dpreview have done this.

These photos are INSANE! As in amazing!

I discovered this with my F717 recently as well, I have the Hoya filter and Polarizer, I need a netural density filter now and a BW093(??) filter

Surreal stuff huh?

Very nice photo's. Infra-red photo's seem to have a depth that many 'normal' ones lack.
I have just 'discovered' infra-red photography after getting a Sony F717 and intend to get the required filters very soon.
