Figurative Art Sculptures

Art Sculptured Figure # 3

Chappy the Donkey King
by Sculpture Artist Kassity Allison

Meet Chappy. Chappy was characterized after the image of a friend. He is my second sculptured art figure. He is a Faunas. His story begins long long ago.... in a land far far away....
His Father was a Donkey King who loved to flirt with the local village woman. To his sadness the village woman did not find the Donkey King remotely appealing. He so desired a son who would carry on his legacy. So he prayed to the Gods to send him a woman that would love him and bare him a noble son that would carry on his family Donkey King legacy, and that he would a be donkey King that would be a real ladies man and be extremely happy.

Then one day a woman came along a fell in love with the Donkey King and soon after their marriage gave birth to a son. But to the horror of the Donkey King the child was half man and half donkey. As the children grow the King learnt quickly that the man child was the flintiest with all the girls of the village and the girls ran in horror. The King was heavy with worry about what would happen to his Kingdom and his beloved Donkey King son, threw his great love for his son in named him Chappy not bestowing him with a true Donkey King name.

As the years pasted the Donkey King’s grew to love his son more and more, for the half man and half Donkey King was the happiest of all the people who lived in the village and Kingdom. He brought his joy and happiness with him wherever he went and all who saw him could not understand how one so different could be so happy. Only the Donkey King himself knew the answer to his son’s great happiness and loved him deeply for Chappy is the true “Donkey King of the Kingdom”.
