THE REAL THING

Niagara Falls, Ontario

Reminds me of my youth and geting the smaller bottles from
this machine. Mind you it only cost a dime as well.
Guess I am dating myself a bit.

Ever see the younger generation when they
try and open an old bottle with the non twist caps. Funny as
heck to watch them try and figure out what a bottle opener is
and how to use it.

Canon EOS 50D ,Sigma 150-500mm f/5.6-6.3 DG HSM OS
1/125s f/5.0 at 150.0mm iso1600 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

There's a John Deere farm equipment dealer on the corner of the farm where I grew up on - and they had a cooler just like this! I can still remember being fascvinated at how one had to put a coin in before the tin, mechanical guts would give up the cool, wet, wonderful goodness in those glass bottles. Yup, 10 cents! with the cap crimped on... Oh boy, thems were the days... - Dave HS - 40

You make me laugh...yeah, they have no clue...and it is fun to watch. My favorite drink there!
