We checked this cemetery, located in Sharpsburg, especially for George Small as he purchased in 1788 a 250 acre tract of land from Captain John Fleming in this vicinity. However no relative of the Small tree was found from a foot search and review of the cemetery listings. According to George Stone who has researched this issue, George Small's property includes the location of the present day cemetery! However, consider this: George Small died in 1851-2 and it was not until 1884 that this cemetery came into existence. There is an older unkept cemetery in another part of Sharpsburg, of which most of the stones are unreadable, that may hold some surprises. See https://pbase.com/kmsmall/old_sharpsburg_ky_cemtery
