Moses Sharp provided the land to the city which bears his name, that is Sharpsburg. George's deed gives the northern boundry
of his land as Fleming Pond, located approximately where the water tower stands, adjacent to today's Sharpsburg cemetery, Crown Hill.
The southern boundry appears to spill into Montgomery County and is stated at 1,000 acres lying between Somerset and Flat Creeks,
not including the land that George already owned. It is possible that George's land includes the location of Sharpsburg's Crown Hill Cemetery.
