C2012/S1 (ISON) in Gemini, on Feb 16 7:57 pm PST (Feb 17, 03:57 UT). The comet is near the center of
the frame with a short tail visible. The bright star just above ISON is TYC 2437-62-1 and the bright
star to upper left is TYC 2437-258-1. Imaged with CCD Lab’s Q285M camera and a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25
at f10, on a Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. The L subframes were 2 minutes for a total of 48 minutes
total exposure. Captured with Nebulosity, calibrated and combined in Iris with other processing
using PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up.
