C2012/S1 ISON in Gemini on Jan 17 8:12pm PST (Jan 18, 04:12 UT). The galaxy to the upper left is
IC2193 while the bright orange star to the lower right is TYC 2453-749-1. Imaged with CCD Lab’s
Q285M camera and a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25 at f10, on a Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. The RGB subframes
were 4 minutes for a total of 24 minutes total exposure in each channel. Captured with Nebulosity,
calibrated and combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS.
