When I mention The French Quarter most think immediately of Bourbon Street.
There is so much more to it.
History, beautiful architecture and the great local populace.
I love to go there and wait for moments to try and capture in monochrome.

I really am intrigued by that interesting shape created by the shadow on the door...and interacting with the man's silhouetted figure. Terrific film noir effect that is quite appropriate here! Your wait paid off brilliantly!
