Canadian Superbike: Shannonville 2006

Lee Ann took these pictures with my Rebel XT and a newly acquired Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 lens (except for three pictures taken with my 70-200 f/4L plus 1.4X TC). We literally stopped the UPS truck in my town to get the lens package as we were leaving for Canada the evening before. I'm impressed by the performance of this low cost lens.

Thanks for your review. I have the same lens and am enjoying it so far, but I have a LOT to learn about photography. May I ask what settings you used when taking the photos of the bikes in movement? I've tried putting my Canon XSI on "sports" mode but I'd like to set up the camera with the correct settings for these kinds of action shots so I can just toggle to that setting. Is that possible? Thank you!
