The Chimney in the Parlour
Surrounded by floral decoration, the central panel represents Saint Isabel of Hungary, Güell´s wife and daughter´s patron Saint.This room set aside for family gatherings forms part of the circulation system designed by Baudí for the palace´s second floor, as a hallway leading to the bedrooms with elevated views over the central Hall.The Parlour is presided over by a majestic chimney made from red marble and alabaster, designed by architect Camil Oliveras, who often worked alongside Gaudí.
