Piotrkowska Street (Polish: ulica Piotrkowska) is the main artery of the city and one of its major tourist attractions.
It is one of the longest commercial thoroughfares in Europe, with a length of 4.9 km between Liberty Square and Independence Square.
It is a cultural, political, sentimental, commercial and business centre of Lodz.
Here, in its proximity, almost all of the most important administrative offices, banks, shops, restaurants and pubs are situated.
A big part of the street is a promenade, only for pedestrians.
