20050529 Grenoble Road, Oxford

This one is for Sylvia Vuarnet , who lives in Oxford's twin town of Grenoble, France.

I'm embarrassed to say there seems to be little public acknowledgement of the link in Oxford.

However, a major new road has been named 'Grenoble Road'.

This picture was taken there - can you guess what it is?

Not a clue actually, but it looks good. At least your photographic version of it does. Excellent.

Nicely intersected between sky and architectural form.

My favourite kind of shot. I love architectural shots against a blue sky and the cloud is perfectly placed.
