ragged robin

This is a local success story.
Over the last few years I've watched a single small clump of Ragged Robin turn into a mini swathe.
Each year I look forward to them coming back better than the year before.
They are still bloody untidy looking though!

As usual great work, love the colour contrast between the Ragged Robin (never seen them before) and green background/the way the DOF progresses into the picture, if you know what I mean!

Excellent shot of a great flower. I've just discovered a very snall group in a recently planted wood at Temple Newsham...hope they spread like these have.
