The scanning project continues. Ginny took Robert and David to Ireland in 1997. She took about 20 rolls of film which I am into scanning this week. It has been interesting for me because Google Gemini is very good at identifying things, like buildings and locations. I have had additional fun because Ginny and I went to Ireland in 2024 so I can compare what was seen on both trips.

Todays picture is from Ginny's 1997 trip. It is with St. Kevin's Cross in Glendalough which was erected in the 6th century (or thereabout). We have pictures of the thing from both trips. Ginny is participating in a long-standing local tradition. According to legend, if you can wrap your arms completely around the body of the cross and touch your fingertips on the other side, your deepest wish will be granted. Sounds good to me.
