We went over to Houston Methodist so Ginny could get an MRI. That is Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Ginny's doctoral thesis was in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. Long before imaging was invented. I think the MRI guys dropped the nuclear part of the description because it sounded dangerous. Anyway, you gotta have hydrogen nuclei to do the imaging. Guess what, your body is full of hydrogen in many different forms.
So I went to the bathroom and was confronted by a dispenser of PURELL® High Performance HEALTHY SOAP. What the heck is that? Turns out it is a handwash designed primarily for high-frequency use in healthcare and professional settings. It is supposed to be better at removing germs than normal soap. Who woulda thunk?
