We had a very busy day. We went to the Apia fish market at 5:15 am then off to mass at Immaculate Conception Cathedral. Being a Catholic mass, the parts were the same as we have at home, only in Samoan. As at the church last week, the choir was terrific. Then it was back to the resort for breakfast.
The remainder of the day was a drive through the eastern side of Upolu Island. This is a very scenic place. We made a quick stop at Papapapaitai Falls, which is a tall one. Unfortunately this time of year (dry season) there isn't much water coming over the falls. We went snorkeling at Lalomanu where my waterproof camera (Olympus TG-6) kicked the bucket. After a nice lunch we started back toward Apia stopping at To Sua cave pool, Le Mafa Pass and Falefa Falls. Back at the resort it was snorkeling time. We ended the day playing BINGO and having a good time. Life is tough.
Today's photo is of Ginny with her BINGO dauber. Merlot pairs nicely with BINGO.
