This morning I took Ginny to the retina specialist for a follow up. Because her eyes would be dilated, I drove her over there. Better safe than sorry. Anyway, the Ophthalmologist examined her and declared that she didn't need any more follow up visits. That was good news.
This whole thing was prompted when she suffered a vitreous detachment with hemorrhage while we were in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in Alaska (July 2021). In about 15 minutes she lost all sight in her right eye. You can find the story here. During the evacuation flight to Anchorage we passed by gorgeous scenery and she wasn't going to miss the opportunity to take pictures. She had to use her left eye and she got some good ones of the glaciers. It was a memorable experience.
