We visited the King Tut's Tomb exhibit at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It was a free admission day and the entrance fee for the Tut exhibit was only $10 rather than the standard fee of $30. The thing about the exhibit is that there isn't a single piece of authentic relics in the whole thing. It is all reproductions. Anyway we had to visit because we are both interested in Egypt. We went there two years ago.
Whenever I go to a museum I look for something that is new to me or catches my interest. This exhibit had a cutaway of Tut's nested shrines, sarcophagus and coffins (9 in total). That was new to me and the presentation was very good. There was an animated diagram of the tomb and the cutaway presentation you see in today's photo. It was worth $10 but I wouldn't cough up $30 to visit it.
