Today was my official birthday celebration. We did it up right. Lunch was steak, baked potatoes and Brussels sprouts with bacon and whiskey sauce. The cake was a chocolate whiskey cake with a chocolate ganache frosting. We enjoyed the cake with some ice cream. For a present, Ginny gave me two home-made coupons for a trip to my favorite local burger joints: Sonic and Millers. We had lots of fun. The food was great. Life is good.
