We had a freeze here a couple weeks ago. It sure wreaked havoc on Ginny's garden. Lots of stuff survived, but others bit the dust. Her camelia tree was just about in full bloom. Of course the blooms are all gone. So we were faced with a garden with nothing blooming. St. Bernadette Church to the rescue. They were giving away the poinsettias that adorned the altar during Advent. Ginny was happy to oblige and she carted some home. She put them in the front atrium and VOILA nice colorful flowers (I know the red and white are actually leaves.) We walk by the atrium numerous times a day and now we have pretty stuff to look at. Good job, Ginny.
Ginny took some great photos of the poinsettias. Here is one.
