My trip to the Grapevine Trade-O-Ree was enjoyable. I saw quite a few friends. I didn't find much to buy. So it goes. One thing I have to do is put my acquisitions into the binders which are used to house my main collections. I collect Region 9 (TX, NM, OK) Order of the Arrow, council strip patches, Order of the Arrow name and numbers and Region 9 Conclave patches. That is about 3800 items in about 40 binders. Because there are so many, I have to keep Excel databases to keep up with it all. So today I started into the process. It is slow going because I use the opportunity to verify the contents of the collections with my data. I also get a chance to look at them all which is fun. Such variety. This is my setup to add and verify the patches. I can do one binder a day, maybe. It keeps me off the streets.
