Today was relocation to Amarillo. We planned to get there right after lunch so Ginny decided that we must visit the Amarillo Museum of Art. It was not bad. Beat the heck out of Georgia O'Keeffe. One piece I found interesting was this one which is by Ray Howlett entitled Ocean Waves. It is an infinity light sculpture done with dichroic glass. Nobody had to interpret it for me.

Our main reason to visit Amarillo was to see "The Texas Show" at Palo Duro Canyon. Ginny was chatting with the office staff at the museum and found out the show had been canceled for a week. There was no reason to hang around Amarillo any more, so we checked into our hotel and started making plans for a long return drive to Houston in the morning. 634 miles about 10 hours of driving. What could go wrong?
