Our objective today was Capitol Reef National Park. We had been there before. The intent was not touring but visiting. Our dear friend Shauna is Chief of Interpretation there, having been recently promoted. Our paths first crossed in 2011 when we were all working at Lewis and Clark National Historical Park in Astoria, Oregon. Since then we have managed to get together several times, always a lot of fun. This time was no different. Shauna is a wealth of information about travel because she travels a lot. This time we got her first hand experience photographing the bears at Brooks Falls in Alaska. We will be there in a couple months and we wanted to make sure we brought the right camera equipment along. Looks like telephoto zooms are going to be the ticket.
