Our objective today was Palm Springs, California. The highlight was a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. It turned out to be very cool. At the top of the tramway is Mount San Jacinto State Park. We had a very nice hike up there. The weather was cool. It was sheltered from the wind. All in all a very pleasant adventure.

The tram cars are unique. The floor inside turns so you get to see from all angles during the journey which takes 11 minutes. Today's photo is of one of the tram cars as it is approaching the top.
