We headed to Marfa, Texas, with a stop at the Caverns of Sonora. These caves are nice but not the spectacular type you see at Carlsbad, Mammoth or Luray. Our guide was good. There were three other people on the tour. It was fun. Today's photo is at the best spot in the cave for pictures.
After that we headed to Marfa. There was almost no traffic. The speed limit is 80 mph and the roads are good. We made great time.
Marfa is a town without much to do. The Marfa and Presidio County Museum was small. There was an exhibit about soaring which got our attention. We climbed to the top of the Presidio County courthouse for a nice panoramic view of the city.
For supper we got some salads at the local grocery store and opened a bottle of wine. Life is good.
