Today is election day. Ginny and I went to vote at Armand Bayou Elementary School, the usual polling place for us. In Houston, you can really vote at any polling place now that all the voting records are electronically centralized. We like to go to the customary spot because we might run into friends, which we did today.
One thing that really pisses me off; however, is the multilingual signage, including on the voting machine itself. This is crazy. If you are a naturalized citizen, you are eligible to vote. Also, if you are a naturalized citizen you must "Be proficient in basic spoken and written English." So why the multilingual signs? Crazy. Just another sign the progressive movement is working to do us in.
