Ginny and I have been working on our food selection. My objective is to cook as many meals fresh as possible. That means setting the size to prevent left overs. For the most part we have been successful. Some dishes like my curries and Pad Thais end up with some leftovers. Usually not that much so they get consumed as snacks.
In the past we would get some nice meat at the store and cook it all at once which means leftovers. Warmed up leftovers are no match for fresh cooked. So yesterday we got a good deal on thick cut pork loin chops. There were nine of them in the package. Sunday I made a Pad Thai which consumed two, so we put seven in the fridge for later. Today I grilled two of them. I made some sauteed mushrooms and asparagus. Ginny made some tomatoes and mozzarella. We ended up with a great meal with no leftovers. Life is good.
