Today was a trip up Haleakala to see the volcano. This volcano has been dormant for quite a while. The crater was rather large with lots of cinder cones rather than the remnants of a great lava pool. There were a couple of ranger talks we listened to and then we wandered around a bit. It was very windy up there. At the end we were just pooped out so we headed back to the hotel. Ginny shot some nice sunset photos.
Today's photo is an eight panel panorama of the volcano. It is about 180 degrees. I like it. The problem with panos is they are hard to display on the screen. Look at it full resolution. That is not steam in there it is clouds.
