My son Richard, his wife Christiane and grandsons Andrew and Austin came to town for a week to celebrate Thanksgiving. There were lots of things they wanted to see and we got to a lot of places. Today we started out at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. They boys were interested in the dinosaurs and the trains. Ginny and I really enjoyed the mineral and gem exhibit which included a lot of Tiffany jewelry made for the Czars and others. We had lunch at the museum then headed home for a nap.
In the afternoon we went to the rocket park at the Johnson Space Center. The boys love anything mechanical that moves. A Saturn 5 certainly meets that criteria. There were some rockets outside, but the Saturn is inside which saves it from weathering. Today's photo is of Richard with grandsons Austin (left) and Andrew.
