Our objective today was a visit to White Sands National Monument. This is the third time we have visited. The sand there is gypsum, calcium sulfate, which is why it is white. Ginny likes to slide down the dunes. She did that.
We were looking for an opportunity to do some nice photography. We headed out onto the dunes an hour before sunset and were rewarded with some nice light and a nice sunset. Todays photo is one of mine. Ginny got lots of nice ones as well.
