We left the photography tour this morning and headed out on our own. During the last week we learned a lot about good places to take photos. Now we can go back to those places when the weather is better and get some nice ones.
We took a hike at the Laurence S. Rockefeller Preserve. It was comfortably cool and the sun was shining. Our ranger guide was a wealth of information. We spent several hours enjoying the outdoors ending up at Phelps Lake which was very picturesque. On our way out of the area we spied a bunch of cars pulled over. That usually means a critter of some sort. Sure enough, there was a moose feeding in the water. Our luck seeing critters has been very good on this trip. Just seeing things like wolves is very cool. We couldn't photograph them because they were too far away.
