We spent the whole day in Grand Teton National Park. We went out to Oxbow Bend for the sunrise which turned out nice but not great. Then we went on a ranger guided hike to Taggart Lake. The weather was nice and the hike was interesting. It was about 3 miles round trip. The ranger provided lots of information about all sorts of topics. We have found that the ranger led hikes generally are excellent. In the evening we went on a wildlife caravan. A ranger leads a group of ten cars through the park in search of wildlife. We saw some pronghorns and elk. It was fun but really not a photo opportunity because the critters were far away and the light was poor. We ended up with a stop at Mormon row. While the ranger was talking about some types of critters, Ginny wandered over to a barn and got this great shot at sunset.
