We met up with four of our friends from Dover and spent the afternoon at Longwood Gardens. It is one of those over the top DuPont properties. It features plants, flowers and trees. I don't too much get excited about that stuff, but I have to admit it was quite a sight to see. They are doing their chrysanthemum festival. The conservatory is filled with chrysanthemums and lots of other stuff that is typically on display. The weather was very nice and we had a good visit. Ginny decided that I wanted to hike across the pasture to visit the Webb farmhouse (the object of today's photo). I wasn't in the mood for the short hike because I had other stuff I wanted to see. She won, I lost and we hiked over there. We have been here at least once before. It pays to choose a sunny day because the plants look so much better with the sun out.
