We decided it might be a nice day for wine tasting. I guess any day might be a nice day for that. So we headed down the Baltimore Pike for the Chaddsford Winery. They were having some sort of event. When we pulled in, it was mobbed. There were huge lines and we decided that was not going to be our tasting activity. Ginny remembered seeing another winery (there are lots of them around here) a short distance down the road, so we stopped at the Ten Gallon Hat winery and tasting room. It was not very busy, which is good for us but not good for them. We each got a tasting such that we could try all the wines. It was fun. This place has only been in existence for a couple years. Ginny and I are not at all knowledgeable about wine, but we like it. The person serving us was the boss' daughter. She was very knowledgeable and we had a nice time. Perhaps the wine we liked best was the Cranberry wine. We have had some out in Washington state and really liked it. So we bought a bottle of that and a bottle of Barbera on the way out. Very nice place. We had fun. Life is good.
