We spent half the day relocating from St. Johns, NB, to Halifax. Back in Halifax the group visited two places that Ginny and I visited on our own before joining the goup, The Citadel and the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. In both places we had stuff we wanted to see even though we had been there before. It turned out to be a fine day, so walking around the Citadel was very pleasant. They put on an interesting shooting demonstration involving two rifle squads. Lots of banging around which I liked.

At the Maritime Museum I had the opportunity to watch a couple films which I had missed on the previous visit. I also got the time to go through the top floor with more care. It is about shipwrecks, among other things. I always find shipwrecks interesting. I like seeing the old items that get dug up. As I was walking around Ginny came looking for me so that I could take her photo. So, today we have Ginny relaxing in a replica Titanic deck chair. She had finished rearranging them and was taking a break. It is funny, I find the phrase "rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic" one of the best because it really conveys a message. I am sure everybody has had bosses and organizations which were masters at rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

We had a real nice salmon dinner on the water front bat Murphy's by the Sea. It was done just right. I had a glass of Murphy's IPA. I asked the waiter if they had a brewery. He told me that their beer was special made by Molson's. That means that no, they don't make their own beer. Too much marketing gets in the way of the truth.
