I have been experimenting with salsa recipes. My son Richard and I tried a bunch of them a while ago when we got a cook book about them. There are lots of good ones that you can make from all canned stuff. I decided if I am ever going to get my break on Food Network, I have to be a little more daring. Today I decided to try using fresh poblano peppers in a salsa verde recipe. The trick is that you have to roast them a little to get the skins to come off. It worked. The salsa was great.
