To be absolutely fair, any person who does not realise that there is a risk of drowning in this BLOODY GREAT BIG river. Should be sitting in a padded cell, drawing pictures of flowers with crayons.
The nearest phone in Upper Richmond Road, well thats about half a mile away, I hope the person who falls in the river is a good swimmer.

In spite of stating the obvious and having an error in distance, the sign is a masterwork of valuable information for reporting of an accident. Whether anyone would remember to write down that information during an emergency is another matter.
