I once drove over a 100 miles in heavy rain with the sunroof wide open.
When I slowed down at the end of the run, I shut the roof very fast.
I cleaned the rear window when I started the run, and it stayed clean the whole trip, until I slowed. Not one drop of water on it. The car was aerodynamically perfect.
Wish I had it now.
