Jasper National Park is located just north of Banff National Park via highway 93. The stretch of road between Lake Louise and the town of Jasper is called the Icefields Parkway. The road traverses some of the most spectacular and beautiful scenery in the Rocky Mountains. The Columbia Icefield and the Athabasca Glacier are easily accesible and located just off the highway inside Jasper Park. Jasper gets fewer visitors than Banff and features spectacular mountains, lakes, rivers, glaciers, and wildlife.
