The Athabasca Glacier is one of the most convenient glaciers to see and visit. There is a road leading to a parking area near the toe of the glacier or tourists can pay to board modified buses which will drive right out onto the glacier.
Athabasca Glacier is located just off of the Icefields Parkway.
